American Heart Association Courses

We offer several American Heart Association courses.  All courses offer
2-year certification cards widely recognized because of their quality and
preferred by many large medical institutions.  The following is a list of the
classes we offer along with a brief description of each.  If you have any

Healthcare Provider (HCP) courses:  This course is designed for anyone
involved in direct patient care, such as doctors, dentists, and chiropractors
and their assistants, nurses and nursing assistants, respiratory and
physical therapists, hospital transporters, phlebotomists, and more.

HCP Basic:  This course if for those who have never been certified or who
have expired cards.

HCP Renewal:  Providers with a current card qualify for this course.  You
must show your card at the time of registration.

Heartsaver CPR:  This course is appropriate for anyone not involved in
healthcare, including those who need CPR certifications for their job, such
as teachers, coaches, scout leaders, and many others.  Also appropriate for
the general public.

CPR Anytime for Family and Friends:   This course does not provide
certification; however for those who simply want to learn the skills of CPR
without the stress of taking a test this is a great class.  Perfect for new
moms and dads, grandparents, and other family members who want to
learn together.,  A package with a booklet, an inflatable manikin with
directions, a video, and a face shield is available for an additional charge so
that you can practice your new skills anytime you like!!

Heartsaver/First Aid:  Combine CPR and First Aid in one great class, or
take only the First Aid portion if that's all you need.  Great information and
practice sessions; this class takes 4-8 hours depending on the number of
components you want to include.

Heartsaver/AED:  If you or someone you know has obtained an automated
external defibrillator (AED) and would like more training in its' use, you can
get that training, along with a chance to sharpen your CPR skills, bu taking
this course.

NEW CLASS!  We are now offering Pediatric First Aid and CPR classes!  
This class is approved by EMSA for Day Care Providers and is exempt from
EMSA stickers.  Be sure to call for more information if interested.

instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course
